Pastoral Counseling Services
Pastor/Chaplain Hall's scripture-based counsel approaches each meeting with the following goals:
- To offer hope and healing for family conflicts, marital problems, depression, anger, grief, harmful habits, financial struggles, parenting dilemmas, and other issues; and
- To help guide those who are seeking God's truth and wisdom;
- To encourage people to realize that to seek counseling is not a sign of weakness, but rather evidence of faith in God to work in their lives.

American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC)
The AACC is an association of nearly 50,000 counselors. The association’s purpose is to equip Christian counselors as well as the entire community of care with Biblical truth and psycho-social insights that minister to hurting people.
Perhaps it is better to begin by stating what it is not. It is not simply quoting from the bible. Rather, integrative pastoral counseling assists you in examining and understanding the connection of your psychological perspective and your spiritual values. Your belief system as they relate to the presenting concerns.
With the insights of counseling and the wisdom of spiritual care, I will assist you in connecting or reconnecting with self and others. Promoting reconciling, healing, and personal growth in spiritual wholeness, and in the achievement of your greatest capabilities and dreams.
Pastoral Counseling is distinct from mainstream psychotherapy because psychologist and psychiatrists are not typically trained to deal specifically with issues of spirituality and religion. The AAPC commissioned a study that found a large majority (83%) of Americans link spiritual faith/religious values and mental health, and 75% of respondents would prefer assistance from a mental health professional who recognizes and can integrate spiritual values into the course of treatment. Pastor Derrick Hall is here for you! We encourages you to call today.

Premarital counseling is the best way to become better prepared for the many challenges you will face in your marital relationship. During counseling we will help each partner assess his/her personal readiness for marriage.
Premarital counseling will teach you the techniques to prevent, better deal with, or discontinue any difficult habits and unhealthy relationship patterns that can be hard to break once they are well established.
